The Money Revolution

The Money Revolution is the debut non-fiction book by author Alexis Visconti, exploring the history of money and the revolution that shaped civilization, capitalism, and the modern world. I worked closely with Alexis over the course of a year to develop a book design that felt unique, immersive, and thoughtfully considered down to the finest detail.

The design brings together works from art history, featured as full-page images and plates, alongside carefully crafted sidebars and quotes to enrich the reading experience. Bold, modern typography is paired with classic serif fonts to create a balance of tradition and contemporaneity. Custom-illustrated end pages and section icons tie everything together into a cohesive system — visually telling the story of money, wealth, and power.
